Environmental Factors

Environmental factors may help narrow some of the choices. In summer, it is probably best to avoid the heat of the hours around noon, while during the winter, the mid-afternoon hours are the warmest time of day. On days where inclement weather is predicted for the evening, you might want to walk early in the day. Again, it's a matter of awareness of how you and your body react. A word about rain - one of the most enjoyable walks can be experienced on a warm spring day during a light rain.
